"The landfall process of cyclone Biparjoy will start from today evening and continue till night. Wind speed will be 115-125 kmph (when it crosses Jakhau port between Mandvi and Karachi)," DG IMD, Dr Mrutyunjay Mohapatra told India Today.
"With a speed of 125 to 135 kmph, it is slowly moving in the northeast direction around Saurashtra and Pakistan," he said, adding that the cyclone may cause large scale damage and trees may be uprooted.
