The Surat Sessions Court on Monday granted bail to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in a criminal defamation case. The next hearing will now be held on April 13.
Rahul Gandhi was sentenced to two years in jail by a court in Gujarat for his 2019 comments about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's surname at an election rally. Later, he was disqualified as Lok Sabha MP.
