India and Pakistan will square off at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 this October at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The arch-rivals will face each other on October 15.
As per the schedule, announced by the ICC on Tuesday, the opening game will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium on October 5 with a match between defending champions England and New Zealand. The final will also be held at the same venue on November 19,
The first semi-final of the World Cup will be held on November 15 in Mumbai while the second semi-final will be played on November 16 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
India will open their campaign on October 8 against Australia at Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. They will be playing a total of eight matches in the league stage.
