Serum Institute of India will sell the precaution or booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine Covishield to private hospitals and vaccination centres at a "discounted price" of ₹600, SII CEO Adar Poonawalla said. This came after the government said all adults can take the booster dose from April 10. Covishield's price has been capped at ₹780 (including taxes) at private hospitals.
