COVID-19 vaccines are working against all variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus at this point in time in preventing severe disease and death, said World Health Organisation (WHO) chief scientist Dr Soumya Swaminathan. "In the future, if we need to, we may have to change the composition of vaccines and we need to be prepared for that," she further said.
