Gujarat on Saturday reported 13,804 new Covid-19 cases, highest single-day count so far, taking its tally to 4,67,640. The death toll due to COVID-19 rose to 6,019 after 142 more persons succumbed to the infection during the same period. 5,618 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases in the state to 3,61,493. The number of active cases crosses 1,00,000-mark. At present, Gujarat has 1,00,128 active COVID-19 cases, of which, 384 patients are on ventilator. The first dose of vaccine has been given to 92,15,310 persons and the second dose has been given to 17,86,321 persons. A total of 1,10,01,631 persons have been vaccinated so far. There has been no case of adverse reaction or side-effects of Covid-19 vaccine in the State so far. The state's recovery rate stood at 77.30 percent, it said.
