The SIT court hearing the 2002 Naroda Gam massacre case on Tuesday issued a witness summons to BJP president Amit Shah on the application of former minister Maya Kodnani to examine him in her defence to establish her alibi. Kodnani is a key accused in the riots case. Special judge P B Desai has has issued summons for Shah to depose on September 18 and said that the court will not grant any further time for his examination.
