Gujarat's Statue of Unity has been closed till March 25 amid coronavirus outbreak in India. This is for the first since its inauguration in 2018 that Statue of Unity will be closed. State government has closed new bookings for Statue of Unity in Kevadiya till the end of March in the awake of coronavirus scare. Other sites where a closure has been announced include Sakkarbaug Zoological Park in Junagadh, Devaliya Safari Park and Ambardi Safari Park.
