India recorded 34,956 COVID-19 cases on Friday, crossing the 30,000 mark in a single day for the second time pushing the tally to 10,03,832, while the death toll climbed to 25,602 with 687 people succumbing to the disease, according to the Union Health Ministry data.With a steady rise, the number of recoveries stands at 6,35,757, while there are 3,42,473 active cases of coronavirus infection presently in the country. "Thus, around 64 per cent of patients have recovered so far," an official said.
