Congress leader Yashoda Nilamber Verma on Saturday won the Khairagarh Assembly by-polls in Chhattisgarh by a margin of over 20,000 votes. Her nearest rival, BJP's Komal Janghel, got 67,703 votes. "The winning of Congress candidate is an outcome of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's policies in the state. Our leader took decision in favour of public," state minister Amarjeet Bhagat said.
