KC Venugopal general secretary of Congress party said that, the party will hold nationwide protest against a leader of Hindu Mahasabha, who has recreated Gandhi’s assassination by shooting at Gandhi’s graven image.

After releasing a letter to media, Venugopal added that, these provocative and reprehensible actions, happing in the BJP ruled states take place with candid and clandestine support given by the ruling party and the same reveals the deep hatred still carried by the eight wing groups against father of Nation.

As per latter, the protest should preferably be held with placards etc in the places which is associated with the life of Mahatma Gandhi, with the aim to highlight his message and the protest will begin at 10 am today in all state headquarters.
