Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Monday appointed party leader P Chidambaram as senior All India Congress Committee (AICC) observer for Goa to oversee strategies and coordination for the upcoming election in the state. Congress also appointed Jairam Ramesh as an observer for Manipur.
