A fresh trouble for Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan, as an FIR was lodged for allegedly defaming the Rashtriya Swamyamsevak Sangh (RSS). The complaint was filed by social worker Ullema Zamir Naqvi. Khan also accused for insulting Shia religious leader Qalbe Jawad and his secretary Imran Naqvi.

As per the complaint, Naqvi said that Khan has misusing the government letterhead and stamp for maligning the RSS when he was the minister in Akhilesh Yadav government.
