Bajaj Finance, L&T, IndusInd Bank, NTPC and Hindalco Industries were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, Vedanta and Maruti Suzuki. All the sectoral indices ended in the green. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices rose over 1.5 percent each.
