Sensex ended with gains of 353.28 points or 0.87 percent at 41142.66, and the Nifty jumped 113.10 points at 12092.80. Tata Motors and YES Bank are the top gainers while Hero MotoCorp and Power Grid are the top drags. Bajaj Finance and ICICI Bank are the most active stocks on the BSE.
