Sensex closed 134 points, or 0.34 percent, lower at 38,845.82 while Nifty closed 11 points, or 0.10 percent, down at 11,504.95. BSE Midcap closed 0.26 percent higher while BSE Smallcap index closed 0.32 percent lower. Among the sectoral indices, BSE Healthcare ended with gains of over 3 percent. Telecom, Realty and Utilities also logged gains of over 1 percent.
