At close, the Sensex was down 135.37 points or 0.26% at 51,360.42, and the Nifty was down 67.10 points or 0.44% at 15,293.50. About 1082 shares have advanced, 2162 shares declined, and 95 shares are unchanged. Titan Company, Wipro, HDFC Life, Shree Cements and BPCL were among the top Nifty losers, while gainers were Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Coal India, JSW Steel and ICICI Bank.
