Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance, Tata Motors, Bajaj Finserv and Bharti Infratel were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were IndusInd Bank, Vedanta, HCL Tech, M&M and ITC. Among sectors, except IT and metal other indices ended in the green. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices rose 1 percent each.
