Ahmedabad municipal commissioner Vijay Nehra on Saturday evening tweeted that SVP Hospital has got permission from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) to carry out plasma therapy for Covid patients.
Smruti Thakkar, a coronavirus patient who has recovered, has donated her plasma for treatment of a critically ill patient, Nehra said.
