Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fengahi met for more than two hours on Friday in Russia over the border dispute (LAC Dispute) between India and China. A statement has been issued by China regarding the meeting. According to the statement, Weng Fengahi said that the relations between India and China have been severely affected due to the border dispute and in such a situation it was necessary that the defense chiefs of the two countries sit face to face and talk openly. China has once again done the trick of blaming the border dispute on India.

In the statement issued by China, it is said that due to the current tension on the China-India border, the truth is more clear and its responsibility rests solely on India. The Chinese Defense Minister said that China cannot lose even an inch of its land. China’s armed force is fully committed, capable and confident in protecting its national sovereignty and territorial integrity. He said that the important agreement reached by President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, both sides should implement it honestly. China said that emphasis should be placed on resolving the border dispute through dialogue and consultation.
