RN Ravi on Wednesday resigned as the interlocutor for the Naga peace talks, the Union Home Ministry said. Ravi, the Governor of Tamil Nadu, had been holding peace talks with Naga rebel group NSCN-IM since 2014. However, the group had accused Ravi of trying to sabotage the peace process and refused to hold talks with him from last year.
