The Delhi High Court on Thursday said that the government at the Centre is "free to take action" against microblogging site Twitter if it finds the social media platform breaching the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. The High Court later adjourned the matter for July 28 after Twitter informed that it will file an affidavit regarding the appointment of the interim official.
