Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian on Thursday said the Centre has promised to review the state government's demand for exemption from NEET. In a letter to the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Subramanian said that Class 12 marks alone should be the basis for Higher Education admission. The state believes that NEET is unfavourable to rural students, he added.
