In a big boost to India's fight against COVID-19, Bharat Biotech's Chimpanzee Adenovirus Vectored recombinant nasal vaccine has been approved by Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO). The vaccine has been approved by CDSCO for primary immunization against COVID-19 in the age group above 18 years for restricted use in emergency situations. Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted the news.
