The Central Bureau of Investigation has taken over the investigation of the alleged Hathras murder and gangrape case. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had ordered CBI probe in the case on October 3. The Hathras case victim's body was cremated by Uttar Pradesh Police on September 30 after she died in a Delhi hospital.
