A case has been registered against Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Telangana after the state Congress unit lodged a complaint against him, alleging poll code violation.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) vice president Niranjan Reddy alleged in a complaint to the state Chief Electoral Officer that during a BJP rally on May 1, a few children were seen on the dias with Amit Shah.
Niranjan Reddy said that during the rally a child was seen holding a BJP symbol in his hands, calling it a violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
