In a significant development, Calcutta High Court judge Abhijit Ganguly resigned from his post on Tuesday (March 5). Following his resignation, Justice Ganguly said that he would join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on March 7. "The party will decide a role for me," he added.
