With almost all votes counted, Mr Bolsonaro bagged 55 percent votes against 45 percent for Fernando Haddad from the left-wing Workers Party. Mr Bolsonaro is scheduled to take office on 1st January next year. In his victory speech, the president-elect said, he would defend the constitution, democracy and freedom. He said, he would make Brazil a great nation again.
