Amid the increasing numbers of such cases in the country, more than 50 hospitals in Mumbai received bomb threat emails on Tuesday. Jaslok Hospital, Raheja Hospital, Seven Hill Hospital, Kohinoor Hospital, KEM Hospital, JJ Hospital, St. George Hospital and many others received the threats. The threatening emails, which were sent using a VPN network.
Mumbai Police have confirmed that they are actively investigating the situation. However, the identity of the sender and the motive behind the threats are yet to be ascertained.
