The police in Punjab’s Jalandhar Thursday night registered an FIR against Bollywood actors Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda, along with actor Vineet Kumar, director Gopichand, and producer Naveen Malineni, following protests by members of the Christian community over the recently released film Jaat.
The controversy erupted after members of the Christian community alleged that Jaat contains scenes that disrespect Jesus Christ and Christian religious practices.
