BJP has won mayoral seats in Burhanpur, Satna, Ujjain, Khandwa, Sagar, Bhopal and Indore, while the Congress won in Chhindwara, Jabalpur and Gwalior. AAP's Rani Agrawal has won the mayoral post in Singrauli in the party's civic poll debut in the state. As many as 11 municipal corporations went to the polls in the first phase on July 6.
