BJP will form the government for the second consecutive term in Uttarakhand after securing 47 of 70 seats in the state assembly election. According to the results declared by Election Commission, Congress won 19 assembly seats and BSP won two seats. Meanwhile, Independent candidates secured win over two seats in the state.
