BJP national president Amit Shah stated that the party would form the next government in Tripura. He termed BJP as the “only alternative” to the “long Marxist misrule” in the northeastern state. He then added, “For the past 25 years, Tripura is experiencing an atmosphere of corruption, where law and order situation has collapsed and women are not safe.”
