Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing Waghodia constituency in Vadodara, Madhu Shrivastav today openly gave death threat to a reporter on video camera when asked uncomfortable question. Shiravastav, known as dabang politician has previously too misbehaved with TV Journalist. However this time, he has given death threat on camera to Gujarati news channel ‘Mantavya News’ scribe Amit Thakor very fearlessly.
According to election commission guidelines, if a candidate has more than two children, his or her candidature is likely to be rejected. However, Dipak has three kids, and therefore, he cannot contest the election.
Journalists raised this issue with the MLA, which irked him. Madhu Shrivastav said, “Do not ask me tough questions, or else, I will get you beaten.” He also asserted that his son has only two children.
Notably, the BJP has denied a ticket to Madhu Srivastav’s son, Dipak, for the Vadodara Municipal Corporation elections after which he has filed his nomination from ward 15 as an independent candidate. However, his candidature is likely to be rejected.
