The BJP has fielded Union Minister SP Singh Baghel against Akhilesh Yadav from Karhal seat of Mainpuri. SP Singh Baghel has reached the collectorate office to file the nomination. Baghel had been a minister earlier and is now a Member of Parliament(MP) from Agra Lok Sabha seat. Earlier today, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav filed his nomination for the Karhal seat.
