The Bharatiya Janata Party appointed new chiefs to its Delhi, Bihar and Rajasthan state units on Thursday, ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Delhi BJP working president Virendra Sachdeva was appointed as its state unit president and Lok Sabha MP CP Joshi was appointed as the new Rajasthan BJP chief.
For Bihar, Samrat Choudhary, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council, was made the new state chief, replacing Sanjay Jaiswal.
In Rajasthan, CP Joshi will replace Satish Poonia, who is the MLA from Jaipur’s Amber constituency. Manmohan Samal, a former State minister, has also been appointed as the BJP’s Odisha unit president.
