Tap water in Mumbai is the safest for drinking while Delhi’s water is the worst among 21big cities, according to a report based on sample tests done by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Of greater concern is that all the samples of tap wa ter taken from 14 out of 21cities failed to meet one or more safety parameters during tests carried out in laboratories.
