To face cyclone Biparjoy, the city civic body announced its preparedness plan. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to close the lower promenade of Sabarmati Riverfront on both the sides for the public on June 15-16.
The recreational activities on the riverfront will also be cancelled on these two days and the civic body has kept 15 teams of fire brigade on standby.
