In a big blow to Congress, party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh quit the party on Tuesday. He will join the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday. "I have resigned from the Congress, as well as Rajya Sabha. Will join the BJP tomorrow," he said at a press brief at his residence.

Sanjay Singh says he is leaving Congress because leadership is zero in Congress. He said, " I am supporting Modi because sabka sath sabka vikas."

He added, "I have been with the Congress since 1984. My decision of leaving won't impact Congress in any way. Whatever has happened in Congress in 15 years hasn't happened before. I took this decision after thinking a lot about it."
