Actor Amitabh Bachchan has jokingly demanded a bonus from his Badla producer, Shah Rukh Khan, after the film became one of the biggest hit from Red Chillies Entertainment production. Badla has made over Rs 86 crore in its theatrical run, and has been declared a ‘super hit’ by trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The film was produced on a reported budget of Rs 10 crore and is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. It marks a reunion between not only Amitabh and Sujoy, but also Amitabh and his Pink co-actor Taapsee Pannu.

Amitabh Bachchan took to twitter and gave the example of how and when a company achieves its goals, it gives bonus to its staff. “So where is my bonus” Amitabh asked Shahrukh Khan.

This was a response to a tweet where SRK had said that Badla was a success only because of Bachchan's stardom.

Bachchan had earlier tweeted that the film's box office success had been ignored by the industry. "About time someone started talking about this silent success!! Because neither the producer, nor the distributor, nor the on line producer, or any else in the industry, in general, has even spent a nano second to compliment the success of this film Badla," he had written.
