As the Congress prepares to make the ''Bharat Bandh'' a success in Gujarat, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Monday hit out at the opposition party and said state''s farmers will not back a ''political agitation'' being organised against the Modi government in their name. Rupani claimed the Congress has lost support of people across all sections of the society and pointed out that in the past the party had promised to make changes in agri rules that are covered under the new farm legislations. "We will ensure that law and order is not affected in the name of bandh. Strong action will be taken against those who indulge in illegal activities during the bandh," the chief minister warned. No section of the society is today with the Congress, Rupani said.
