In yet another setback for West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee ahead of 2021 West Bengal Assembly Elections, Minister of State for Department of Youth Services and Sports Laxmi Ratan Shukla on Tuesday resigned from his post. The cricketer-turned-politician has also tendered his resignation from the post of the Trinamool Congress district president in Howrah. Laxmi Ratan Shukla is the second minister after Suvendu Adhikari to resign.
