The West Bengal government has decided to extend the existing Covid restrictions in the state till August 15. The restrictions, which were imposed under the provisions of the Diaster Management Act 2005 and West Bengal Epidemic Disease, Covid Regulations 2020 were earlier announced till July 30.The new order announced on Thursday allows government events in indoor places with not more than 50 per cent of the total seating capacity.All outdoor activities including movement of people and vehicles remains strictly prohibited between 9pm and 5am.
