West Bengal on Friday extended COVID-19 curbs till November 30 with more relaxations like the resumption of intra-state local trains at 50% capacity. Schools for classes 9-12, colleges and universities will reopen from November 16. Cinema halls, theatres, auditoriums, shopping malls, restaurants, spas and gyms can operate at 70% capacity. Essential government offices can open at 100% capacity.
