India’s Lakshya Sen scripted history by reaching the men’s singles semi-finals at the Paris 2024 badminton tournament on Friday.
Parupalli Kashyap and Kidambi Srikanth previously reached the quarter-finals at London 2012 and Rio 2016, respectively.
"This is something that I have been dreaming of and it feels really good to be in (the semi-finals)," Lakshya said.
"There is a lot more work to do and now is the real test," he added. "It starts from here and now is the time to go back and recover and be ready for the next match (on Sunday)."
