Delhi minister Atishi is set to be the next chief minister after Aam Aadmi (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal proposed her name at a meeting of the party’s legislative wing. Atishi, who holds the Education Ministry, will be the third women chief Minister of Delhi after Sushma Swaraj and Sheila Dixit.
Sources said there would be no Deputy Chief Minister and Atishi would take oath during a special Assembly session, which would be held on September 26-27.
