Assam Police has reportedly summoned Mizoram MP K Vanlalvena for questioning on August 1 over his alleged "threatening statement" amid Assam-Mizoram border tensions. A notice in this regard has been pasted at Vanlalvena's Delhi residence, PTI reported. After five Assam policemen were martyred in border violence, Vanlalvena said, "They are lucky that we didn't kill them all."
