India won a medal with their first event of the day, as the trio of Ramita, Mehuli Ghosh, and Ashi Chouksey earned a silver medal in the women's 10m air rifle event. Shortly after the first medal, army men Arjun Lal Jat and Arvind won a silver in men's lightweight double sculls as well.

Rowing fetched India further medals with Men's Eight team adding another silver, while Babu Lal Yadav and Lekh Ram winning a bronze in men's pair. In the women's 10m air rifle final, India's Ramita won a bronze medal, taking the overall tally up to 5. Additionally, India women's cricket team also confirmed a silver medal, outclassing Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the semi-final.
