As PM Modi turned 71, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a 20-day mega 'Seva aur Samarpan' campaign, which includes activities like COVID-19 vaccination drive, sanitation drives and blood donation camps across the country. As part of the campaign, India set a new record by administering over 2.5 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses in a day on Friday. As per the government figures, India managed to pull off 466 doses per second to hit the milestone.
