The Supreme Court on Friday granted interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a money laundering case linked to the alleged excise policy scam. A bench headed by Justice Sanjiv Khanna pronounced the judgement. The apex court also referred Kejriwal's petition challenging his arrest by the ED to a larger bench.
"Kejriwal suffered for 90 days in jail. He is an elected leader and it is up to him whether he wants to continue in the role of CM or not," the top court stated in its verdict.
